The bent row is often considered the go-to exercise for upper body pulling, but it does have its drawbacks. It can put your lower back in a vulnerable position, and as the set progresses, people often switch to upright rows. While using a bench for support can solve this issue, it creates another problem - limited range of motion.
We recognised these issues and experimented with various options to develop a bar that would provide the best of both worlds. The end result is a bench pull bar that allows you to lie flat and be fully supported, and offers ample space for full scapular retraction. Additionally, the bench can accommodate alternative bars like Swiss Bars and Fat Bars, allowing for more variations.
Unlike other similar benches on the market that lack a barbell rack, our Industrial Athletic Bench Pull eliminates the need for boxes or accessories to reach the bar. Simply set the J-hooks to your desired height, and you're ready to go. Industrial Athletic J-Hooks include HDPE blocks to protect it and your bar from wear and tear.
Crafted from 3mm thick steel, the Industrial Athletic Bench Pull is a sturdy, self-contained piece of equipment that weighs over 90kg and doesn't require bolting down (though the option is available). Whether you're looking to balance heavy pushing volume, target your upper back, or rehab a shoulder injury, this bench pull is more than just a bench - it's a heavy-duty piece of artillery that will help you and your athletes achieve your goals.

To get the quality of gear that can handle a high amount of usage, especially when you've got a particular budget to start with, you need to know it's going to last you and it's going to be fit for the use you'll put it through. Make sure you've got something that you are proud of, you're happy with, and is going to last is really critical.Canterbury Rugby

I didn't really look around too much to be honest. I have a good idea of what's out there and have dealt with a few different vendors. So it was a bit of a no-brainer for me - it was a trust thing. I knew the products were good quality, and I knew the service I was going to get from Rob was good and I could trust him.Saint Kentigern College
