Industrial Athletic Jerk blocks create a solid base at different heights, in order for an athlete to position a barbell to key heights to assist in Olympic or strength lifts. These blocks are stackable and constructed from a high quality 18mm thick plywood. Some of the best features include CNC machined parts and strategically aligned inserts for a great stacking fit. All top plates are also double-walled for integrity and strength.

We've used tech screws every 150mm to give you an internally braced block for complete strength and rigidity. We have opted for a solid ply timber top instead of a rubber layer used by others. When using jerk blocks for fast and technical movements, weights can be propelled in unintended directions. Control is essential, therefore a dead blow surface is preferred. Adding rubber to the surface can cause a very much undesired bouncing effect of the weights and bar.

The Olympic lift movements of clean & jerk and the snatch are considered the most all-around movements for strength, power, coordination and mobility. Widely renowned since the early days of weightlifting and strength training as the ultimate test of a person’s ability to move heavy weights, explosively, and with control.

Industrial Athletic Jerk Blocks allow an athlete to position a loaded barbell at a variety of positions in order to maximise your potential at every stage of a lift. The ability to isolate the movement, or begin and end at set key positions, will ultimately reward you with a more complete lift. After all – ‘The sum of all parts is greater than the whole’

So the benefit that I had with going with Industrial Athletic is they've been involved with a lot of fit-outs from start to finish, the professionalism and the experience. There's no other choice, they're at the top of their game.

To get the quality of gear that can handle a high amount of usage, especially when you've got a particular budget to start with, you need to know it's going to last you and it's going to be fit for the use you'll put it through. Make sure you've got something that you are proud of, you're happy with, and is going to last is really critical.

If you want gear thats going to do the job and do it well and it's going to last, than I'd definitely say 'spend the money on it', and I'd definitely recommend Industrial Athletic because it ticks all the boxes when it comes to gym equipment

I didn't really look around too much to be honest. I have a good idea of what's out there and have dealt with a few different vendors. So it was a bit of a no-brainer for me - it was a trust thing. I knew the products were good quality, and I knew the service I was going to get from Rob was good and I could trust him.
