Pro-Grade Kettlebells are much like bumper plates in their configuration and consistency of design. Across the entire weight range, you'll find a Pro-Grade Kettlebell that is the exact same size as any other in the range.

The weight is altered by adding a lead ballast to the interior, although the shell should most definitely be steel, steel, and only steel (painted through right). It's easy to find cheaper Kettlebells, that are trying to be as good as these. Usually, cement cast with a steel handle inserted - cracking easily when dropped, so buyer beware. We retained as much of a natural surface feel as possible, opting for rough textured industrial paint, not a smooth and slippery coating.

Kettlebells have been likened to a cannonball with a handle, best used to perform ballistic exercises that combine cardiovascular, strength and flexibility training. By their nature, typical kettlebell exercises build strength and endurance particularly in the lower back, legs and shoulders, as well as increase grip strength.

Kettlebells uniquely lend themselves to high rep conditioning work and met-cons. Because of this they have garnered a treasured place in boxes and are also utilised in all-round weightlifting and in the specific kettlebell sport of Girevoy.

What the experts say?

"I've used a lot of bells over my time and I really rate the quality of the Industrial Athletic bells. They are hardwearing and durable, and most importantly have a finish and grip that doesn't tear up the hands like a lot of inferior bells."
~ Cliff Harvey (2 x IAWA all-round Weightlifting World Champion)

So the benefit that I had with going with Industrial Athletic is they've been involved with a lot of fit-outs from start to finish, the professionalism and the experience. There's no other choice, they're at the top of their game.

To get the quality of gear that can handle a high amount of usage, especially when you've got a particular budget to start with, you need to know it's going to last you and it's going to be fit for the use you'll put it through. Make sure you've got something that you are proud of, you're happy with, and is going to last is really critical.

If you want gear thats going to do the job and do it well and it's going to last, than I'd definitely say 'spend the money on it', and I'd definitely recommend Industrial Athletic because it ticks all the boxes when it comes to gym equipment

I didn't really look around too much to be honest. I have a good idea of what's out there and have dealt with a few different vendors. So it was a bit of a no-brainer for me - it was a trust thing. I knew the products were good quality, and I knew the service I was going to get from Rob was good and I could trust him.
