A replaceable plastic slider is an excellent addition to any sled used for gym training. With this simple yet effective accessory, you can improve your sled's functionality and get the most out of your workouts. By reducing friction between the sled and the ground, the slider allows you to push or pull the sled more smoothly and with greater ease, which can help you develop strength, power, and endurance. Plus, with the added protection that the slider provides, you can be confident that your sled will last for years to come, even with frequent use.

In addition to improving your gym training experience, a replaceable plastic slider can also help to extend the life of your sled. When you push a metal sled on concrete or asphalt, the friction can cause damage to the sled over time, which can be expensive to repair or replace. However, with a plastic slider attached to the bottom of the sled, the slider takes on the wear and tear instead of the sled itself. This means that you can keep using your sled without having to worry about it getting damaged or worn out too quickly. And, when the slider does eventually wear out, it's easy to replace it with a new one, so your sled can continue to function at its best.

Rubber flooring can provide more friction than other surfaces, which can cause damage to the bottom of your sled over time. In this case, a replaceable plastic slider can be an especially useful accessory as it provides a protective layer between the sled and the rubber flooring. However, keep in mind that it may take more time for the slider to bed in with the rubber flooring due to the increased friction. But once the slider is fully broken in, you can expect to enjoy a more efficient and comfortable workout, with less wear and tear on your sled. With a plastic slider, you can extend the life of your sled and enjoy a safer, more effective workout on any surface.

Please be aware, that rubbing two surfaces together will always cause wear.  We cannot guarantee that your floors are protected from wearing out.  We design these Sliders to protect the sled, first and foremost.

Our Customer Say

So the benefit that I had with going with Industrial Athletic is they've been involved with a lot of fit-outs from start to finish, the professionalism and the experience. There's no other choice, they're at the top of their game.

CrossFit Metal Zone

To get the quality of gear that can handle a high amount of usage, especially when you've got a particular budget to start with, you need to know it's going to last you and it's going to be fit for the use you'll put it through. Make sure you've got something that you are proud of, you're happy with, and is going to last is really critical.

If you want gear thats going to do the job and do it well and it's going to last, than I'd definitely say 'spend the money on it', and I'd definitely recommend Industrial Athletic because it ticks all the boxes when it comes to gym equipment

I didn't really look around too much to be honest. I have a good idea of what's out there and have dealt with a few different vendors. So it was a bit of a no-brainer for me - it was a trust thing. I knew the products were good quality, and I knew the service I was going to get from Rob was good and I could trust him.
