When you’re swapping batteries in your Tempest Bike, Rower, or Ski — skip the pricey lithium ones.  Go for standard alkaline batteries instead.

Why?  The Tempest console is designed for low-draw power.  Alkalines deliver a steady output that suits the unit perfectly, and they don’t cause the “over-voltage spikes” lithium batteries can.  In short — they last just as long in this setup, cost way less, and keep your console safe and happy.
