Industrial Athletic Medicine Balls feature a softshell construction and are extremely well balanced with uniform weight for easy handling and flight, during wall ball containing WODs. The shell is sewn from a sturdy and flexible vinyl-coated polyester. The shell is designed to be durable enough to withstand the impact of training but soft enough to not injure the hands and face of the athlete. The filler material provides even weight distribution and helps maintain shape. The outer is an industry-standard 27cm (10") diameter. Balance to approximately 90% accurate. What’s its best use? A medicine ball is specially designed and constructed for use in WODs and competitions, and for throwing drills to improve speed and rate of force production (power). Our Industrial Athletic medicine balls are dimensionally stable and balanced to provide functional resistance during any fitness, sport, or rehabilitation exercise. Ideal for medicine ball exercises where the bounce is not wanted. Primarily, the Industrial Athletic Medicine Balls can be thrown between partners in explosive and moving drills, offering some assurity against impact injuries.
IMPORTANT: This is not a slam ball. Using this ball for exercises such as overhead throws and slam exercises will void the warranty.
The wall ball movement as defined by CrossFit Journal: "The movement begins as a front squat and follows through to a push press/shove that sends the ball up and forward to the target from which it rebounds back to the throwers outstretched arms where it is “absorbed” back into the squat" If you are looking for a product to throw and slam onto the ground, please check out or slam ball range - HERE

Our medicine balls are designed to endure repeated moderate impact in most athletic training and fitness situations. Industrial Athletic supply medicine balls to functional fitness facilities, universities and schools, fitness clubs, and professional sports teams, and we have a very low incidence of return or damage. Industrial Athletic medicine balls have been tested to withstand repeated impact against any relatively smooth, reinforced wall. The seams on an Industrial Athletic medicine ball are designed not to fail unless the product is abused by repeated impact against a rough, aggregate surface, slamming the product on the ground or wall with greater impact than designed e.g. from overhead, or laying on the ball with bodyweight. For slamming movements please consider bouncing, or slamming specific balls.

To get the quality of gear that can handle a high amount of usage, especially when you've got a particular budget to start with, you need to know it's going to last you and it's going to be fit for the use you'll put it through. Make sure you've got something that you are proud of, you're happy with, and is going to last is really critical.Canterbury Rugby

I didn't really look around too much to be honest. I have a good idea of what's out there and have dealt with a few different vendors. So it was a bit of a no-brainer for me - it was a trust thing. I knew the products were good quality, and I knew the service I was going to get from Rob was good and I could trust him.Saint Kentigern College
